Pass-a-Grille is the narrow southern tip of the island, with older cottages and newer homes on short streets running between the Gulf beach and the bay.

Farther north, St. Pete Beach mixes Gulf-front homes with bay-side residential streets and resorts along the main road.

Gulf-front living here is about the sunset side — houses that face open water with nothing but sky behind them.

Resorts and restaurants along the main road keep the northern end busier through the season, while the residential side streets stay quiet.
