Custom builds & large-scale displays

If it doesn't come in a box, we build it.

Some ideas need more than an off-the-shelf solution. We design the display, solve the structural and practical problems behind it, and build whatever the idea requires.

Oversized. Unusual. Animated. Mounting challenges. Structural challenges. Ideas that need something built specifically for them. If the obvious answer is “you can’t do that,” that’s usually where we start getting interested.

01

A creepy undead butcher animatronic

Towering seven feet tall with a metal wireframe and unstable weight displacement during movement, this piece had a problem before Halloween even started: its own motion threatened to take it down.

A custom-built, pre-balanced platform — along with a few carefully considered changes to the animatronic frame — gave the butcher the foundation it needed. The chunky, erratic movement became the steady hack-and-slash performance the character was meant to have, while the structural support and power remained integrated cleanly out of sight.

That installation remained standing and functioning through Hurricane Milton. It’s a pretty good example of what it means when a build gets our team’s stamp of approval.

02

A witch flying on her broom... face-plants the palm tree!

The idea was ridiculous in exactly the right way. Innovation and ingenuity got her positioned and mounted so the gag read immediately from the ground — without a mess of visible rigging and without damaging the palm.

03

A giant inflatable haunted tree, on a mansion roof

When the best place for something is the roof, the design problem becomes scale, access, support, visibility and power. We enjoy the challenge.

Bring us the idea — especially the interesting, strange, or even half-formed one. Creative, bespoke customization without compromise is part of our service and available to every client.

About us

First, a healthy dose of imaginative vision.

Add a creative spark. Swirl in exceptional artistry. Then fold in huge amounts of hands-on know-how and decades of real-world experience. That’s where we do our best work — where imagination meets the experience to actually make it happen.

David and RJ bring together more than 60 years of hands-on experience as designers, builders and problem-solvers. That combination matters. The idea and the execution never have to live in separate hands. We can imagine the display, solve what has to happen behind it, build what doesn’t exist yet, and carry the details all the way through installation.

Years spent working on high-end Florida properties taught us what professional work should feel like: thoughtful design, skilled execution, clear communication and respect for the property.

And we don’t use experience as a reason to rush. We use it to know where not to cut corners.

Holiday lighting is the visible part. Underneath it are decades of building, renovation, installation and solving difficult problems when the obvious answer isn’t good enough.

Q&A

Questions we hear a lot.

Is the price you quote the final price?

Once the scope is agreed and signed, the price is locked. If you ask us to change the job later, we’ll talk through any difference before additional work begins.

Do you charge a fee if you source the materials?

Yes. We charge a one-time $97 sourcing fee when we take responsibility for locating and purchasing materials for your project. That covers the work involved in selecting, locating, sourcing, coordinating, purchasing and handling those materials. We do not add a gasoline surcharge, and if sourcing requires multiple trips, there is no additional sourcing fee. We think that’s fair — and of course, you’re always welcome to supply your own materials instead.

What happens if weather affects the display?

Contact us. We’ll assess what needs attention and discuss the appropriate next step with you before any repair work begins.

How far out do you work?

Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa and the surrounding areas. Have a property farther out? Ask us.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Earlier gives us more freedom — both with your date and with the design. Halloween begins booking in late summer, and Christmas installations fill quickly through September and October. Book sooner for the date you actually want.

Christmas & holiday lighting

Designed for the property, not dropped onto it.

Rooflines, palms, entryways, hedges and landscape become one composition. We pay attention to proportion, spacing, balance and the way the property reads from the street — then use decades of building experience to solve the details that make the finished work look effortless.

What's included

Put up, looked after, taken down.

DESIGN

We start with the property

Tell us what you love, what you’re imagining, or simply that you have no idea where to begin. We’ll develop the design around the architecture, landscape and the way you want the property to feel.

INSTALL

We build the details into it

Rooflines, second stories, palms, hedges, entryways and custom pieces. Clean routing, thoughtful placement and the building experience to solve whatever the property gives us.

TAKEDOWN

We finish the job

When the season is over, we return, take everything down and pack it properly. Takedown is part of the service, not an afterthought.

Halloween & seasonal

The strange, the theatrical, the impossible-looking.

Webbing across an entire frontage. Graveyards. Animated figures. Oversized characters. Custom-built scenes and unexpected things appearing where they absolutely should not be. Halloween gives us room to push scale, storytelling, creativity and problem-solving at the same time.

Booking calendar

Good dates go first.

The earlier you book, the more flexibility we have around both your design and the date you want. September offers the most choice; October tightens quickly as installation season gets underway.

Ideal — September, first pick of dates Getting tight — late Sept into mid-October, still open but filling Installation season — booked solid, staff-scheduled only

Tap the date you'd want your consultation — that's the real appointment. We'll show you the typical install range that follows, as an estimate only; install dates get scheduled after the walkthrough, not before.

Ready to move forward?

Free walkthrough consultation

We come to the property, walk it with you, and develop the design in context — architecture, landscape, access, scale and everything you want the finished property to feel like. Your consultation is the first appointment. Installation is scheduled after the walkthrough and final design.

Tap a date above and we'll show you the estimated install range that goes with it.

We confirm a time by reply. There's nothing to pay for the walkthrough itself. Nothing is charged until we've agreed a time.

Booking & deposit agreement

Holiday installation dates are limited and reserved in the order that signed agreements and deposits are received. A 50% deposit secures your date and authorizes us to begin design, material sourcing, and scheduling.

Deposit & scheduling

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your installation date. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of installation. Your date is not reserved until this agreement is signed and the deposit is received.

Cancellation

More than 30 days before your scheduled installation: deposit refundable, minus a $250 administrative fee to cover design and scheduling time already committed.
Within 30 days of your scheduled installation: deposit is fully non-refundable. Inside this window we are actively sourcing and preparing custom materials for your property and turning away other work to hold your date and crew time on-site, which for larger installs runs one to two weeks. If your date cannot be rebooked, we reserve the right to invoice separately for demonstrable costs incurred beyond the deposit — including custom materials already purchased or fabricated specifically for your project.
Custom-fabricated pieces (mounted displays, built platforms, anything made specifically for your property) become non-refundable once fabrication begins, regardless of timing.

Changes after booking

Any changes to scope requested after signing may affect price, materials, or your installation date. We'll confirm any change with you before doing additional work.

Dates are held in the order signed agreements and deposits arrive. We confirm your actual date by reply — nothing on this page reserves it on its own.

Signed. Two things left.

1 — Send us the agreement so we have it on record.

Email the signed agreement

2 — Pay the deposit

Your date is confirmed by reply once both are received.

Deposit options appear after signing. You'll get a copy of this agreement for your records.

  1. Send a few photos Front of the property from the street in daylight is a great place to start.
  2. Tell us what you have in mind Roofline, palms, entryway, whole property, something completely custom — or simply tell us you want ideas.
